Tuesday I went with a few others from my team to hand out Survival Kits to students at the Eastview campus of Austin Community College. We were helping the Austin Catalytic team (who was traveling to start a campus ministry in Midland) to kick off the school year at ACC and gather students who might have interest in hearing more about Christ or helping tell others about him. We collected about 85 surveys as students came by to pick up a free bag of goodies which included a Bible, book, CD, video, and silly putty (all in a neat laundry bag). It was fun to get to chat briefly with these students as they came by. Pray that the team will be able to follow up with all that left their name and emails and that many will want to be involved. This may be the first significant introduction to Christ that many of these students have. Keep praying for changed lives!
