It's hard to believe that Paul and I have already been engaged for over 3 months! Plans are coming along slowly, but it is beginning to all come together. There are plenty of decisions to be made: flowers, catering, cakes, dresses, music, etc. But even more important than all the details of the ceremony is the decision that must be made by tomorrow. Tomorrow we have to give a final decision on where we will live and be on staff once the wedding and the honeymoon are over. Austin or Los Angeles? Me leaving my team, friends, family and city...or Paul leaving his. Talk about a tough decision!
But we've spent lots of time talking and praying about it, had plenty of input from those around us, and had vision trips to both locations. Now it's just a matter of biting the bullet and making a choice. Both options are good. Neither would be the "wrong" decision necessarily. We would be married in both scenarios. So I guess we just keep praying and follow our hearts...wherever God leads.
So if you read this in the next 24 hours...please pray for us. I guess I'll be posting another big announcemnet soon, so check back to find out the answer!
