update on After Dark

I was pleasantly surprised to show up to Bovard Auditorium Wednesday night to find a line of probably 200 flowing out of the doors. Paul and I, along with several other student leaders decided to hang back to make sure everyone was able to fit inside. We were unsure it would happen...which was a good problem to have. But about 25 minutes after the show was set to begin, we finally made our way in to sit in the back row of the second balcony. Not the best seats, but we got a great view of the packed auditorium. The estimate is that there were about 1,100 students there, many of them not followers of Christ! Today we got to hear some of the results that were reported on cards the students filled out while at the event. 39 people indicated making a decision to trust Christ and 264 decided to rededicate their lives to the Lord!! We also got to celebrate with our Shepherd Team this afternoon and hear more personal stories...some of which I hope to post soon.
