Texas Trip

We're headed back to Texas tomorrow! We'll be in the Pilot Point area with family until next Monday, then we'll head to Austin until Friday the 5th of December. We will of course be visiting lots of friends and family while we're there, which we are very excited about. I've been missing home more than ever lately...maybe because I have a little more space in my life to think about it this year. But we are also hoping to find some new ministry partners while we are there, so you can be praying for a fun and fruitful trip.

We also just got back from the Crossroads Conference (which was preceded by a short regional staff conference as well). It was really great. I think the students had a great time and were really challenged to think about what God has for their future. We had 9 students from USC, including one international student, come to the event. It is really fun for us to see God leading them...some of them are even thinking they will join us in full-time ministry for at least a year! Please keep them in your prayers over the next few months as they make some very difficult and critical decisions. Pray that they will hear and follow the Lord's leading and that a love for Christ and others will be the driving passion in whatever they do.

Thanks and we hope to send a better update soon!
