Our Staff Team

Paul and I spent this past Saturday with our staff team attending the USC football game together. It was a chance for us to just spend time together as a team outside of work stuff, but also a chance for us to get more of a feel for what USC is all about. We weren't expecting much, but we got to see quite an exciting and historic game. Stanford (a 41 point underdog) brought down the #2 Trojans in the final seconds of the game to give them thier first loss at home since 2001! Sad for the students, who absolutely LOVE thier football here, but it was exciting to watch.

So this is my new team...the people I spend the most time with and the folks I know the best here in Los Angeles so far. It's quite a diverse team. We all came from different campuses. 3 of us just moved from out of state. 3 of us are sharing time with 2 teams (me with the regional team and the Wees with Epic). 4 of us are newly married and 4 are single. Tony and Steph got married the exact same day that Paul and I did and we have an eerie amount of similarities. Greg is our fearless leader, and the only one who isn't pretty much brand new to USC. Laura is taking on the role of leading the women...since we don't have a senior staff woman here. She spent 2 years Stinting in Australia before joining staff full-time and coming to USC. Carrie is an intern from Ohio who is working mostly with students in the Greek system. And Matt has been here the longest (besides Greg)...he reported to campus about a month before last spring semester ended. Oh, and we're also a young team (we range from age 24 to 28). I'm actually the oldest by about a month and half. But we are having lots of fun together and we really love our team.
